Ever heard of having to take Omega-3 for great skin, brain function, heart health etc ? Well it is said that our recommended daily intake of omega-3s should be 1,000 mg(1g) at minimum. The main source of omega-3 can come from fish. But unfortunately we can intake fish everyday due to the levels of mercury. So instead we can take fish oil pills.
Now I know what you're thinking, "Ew fish oil...that doesn't sound good at all. I will tell you many fish supplements taste gross. But the Omega-3 Supreme Fish Oil soft gels by Life & Food isn't that.
Most fish oil pills will have a weird aftertaste. It would give off a weird, disgusting taste when you burp haha. Worst of all they would be extremely hard to swallow.
But these pills are soft gels so it goes down pretty easily. And there isn't any bad aftertaste at all.
It's pretty simple as to how to take these fish oil pills.
You take 2 capsules with a tall glass of water, once a day with a meal.
The main thing I love about these is they're easy to swallow. I personally have a hard time with swallowing pills. So knowing they are soft gels makes it easier for me in feeling confident in taking them. Now the smell is a bit nauseating for me but I'm able to get past it once I take them. The amazing part is this one little pill has so many amazing benefits. I personally use them mainly for brain function. Since I have a hard time focusing and remembering things. I was told in order to help with that I could take fish oil pills.
I've noticed a bit of a difference but I need to take them a little longer to see results in its full form.
These retail for $29. I mean it's a bit pricey for my liking but for the amount of pills you get and the benefits you get from taking them; it's reasonable for someone who can afford it. As for me I know there are other alternatives. Just not in my budget right now. But if they were I would definitely purchase them.
